That ma'm,is well thought out and epic.I think the star should be a grand star too,to fit the seriousness, since grand stars are powerful.

rather than somehting that's essentially an overdone boss fight, I would've like some sort of cumulative challenge that made you use everything you had to do preveiosly in the game. and use every power-up again. and so on and so forth.

I really wanted something like that.

I would've prefered for Bowser to have gotten the meteors from his old, destroyed Galaxy to crash into the Mushroom Kingdom and destroy his enemies once and for all. There would be nine comets in total, each one guarded by a Doomship manned by one of Bowser's kids, with Bowser on the ninth and largest one. Each Koopaling and ship would have a different theme, based on the personality (Lemmy would represent Toy Time and the most insane parts, with excessive use of Spring Mario; Ludwig would represent the Battlerock and Juggernaut areas with robotic puzzles; etc).

I would like this ending for three reasons:

1. It proves that Bowser, no matter what happens, is the most evil and cruel-hearted villan to ever appear in the Mushroom Kingdom.

2. A huge amount of Fan service would be put in. To experience the game with an all-in-one level would be awesome, not to mention how many characters could be put in! Jelectros, the Koopalings, any other minion...fan-favorites, vetran warriors, and new Koopa Klansmen alike could finally live together in war against Mario.

3. It demonstrates that there is still so much chaos, even when peace is finally attained. There's a double-meaning for ya!

That is my dream ending...

Yours, though, is an awesome idea. Though I would say it's better-suited for a Mario game in his own galaxy.

I sitll think that rather than a massive fan service, a final re-cap challenge should have been done.

Hell no.

Go through the trial galaxies Luigi's purple coins and all the other hard bits then have to fight all the koopalings and bowser.

The star festival is so you can relax.

Well, another idea I had was for the Star Festival area to be the other 'world map' place. It would have minigames and items for sale. :3

Minigames are the only things worse than Snow Levels.

No they're not.

Minigames, depending on the sort, can be fun.
