Meh. At school, people get judged for looks and anything else easily.

So what is the best to be done? Taking advantage of it can be. I have got lots of fake rumors on me, and I take advantage of that to keep others from annoying me.

I get the regular "omg ur on drugs" crap from people, I've gotten over
that one though. It makes me angry when people assume that I like
crappy emo music and stuff like that. I like cheesey pop like Spice Girls
much more than any of that Bright Eyes stuff.

Work is worse though, apparently since I'm a teenage female I'm not
qualified to tell people what time the store closes, and this is over the phone -_-;.

This will probably also branch into the racism-hating department, but Devin is mixed and has somewhat of a tanned tone (for the record, I don't approve of the terms 'black' or 'white' to describe people), but I inherited most of my dad's African American genes in my hair, so I have really, really curly hair. I always get accused of either trying to look like a black girl (who, according to social-racial hierarchy, are automatically above the 'white losers'), or just get teased for having 'nappy/ugly/frizzy/puffy' hair.
I also like to hit the thrift/bargain stores and places like that. I dress Bohemian-style; you know, like, hipyy-ish, I guess. But I hate being outright accused of being a hippie, because people tie it in with drug use and all sorts of other stupid stereotypes. Also, people keep teasing me about my clothes. MINE ARE COMFORTABLE AND I LIKE WEARING THEM, so it's not your problem, dammit! Get a life, people.
They actually just hate them because they're not from the 'in' stores. Seriously, one day, this conversation happened:

Me: *walks by*
Girl: Nice outfit.
Me: Oh, thanks.
Girl #2: Where'd you get it?
Me: Rave.
Girls: Ew.

I also have glasses, but they aren't THAT much of a problem, cause a lot of kids in my neighborhood have glasses. I still get all that 'four-eyed nerd' crap, though.
It's all about looks to these shallow people today. Another actual conversation:

Girl (who I hate with a passion): Ya'know, Devin, you have a lot of potenital.
Me: I do? For what?
Girl: To be popular. I mean, you just have to chance your hair, and wear more makeup, and get better clothes, and get rid of your glasses, and listen to cooler music, and stop being such a goody-goody.

Same here.
I get that alot. I am very short for my age. So I get constant bullying. Because I'm short, they think I'm a wimp, but I am quite strong. Stronger then most people. I watch that G4 show, that ninja gameshow thing, and I can do alot of that stuff. I went to this playground by my house and started going across the monkey bar things like they do in the show, In a pull up.
Looks like we have the opposite problems.
