Problem? He's gay for runescape. I told him about how everyone here hates runescape, and he said: "Yeah, I thought so. Those people are all NERDS who don't appreciate something that awesome." Excuse me? He doesn't know what awesome IS. He never had a freaking N64. He actually LIKED super mario sunshine, and all the other crappy games on the gamecube. He doesn't know what good IS.

1) Runescape is decent for the first few hours, then it gets tedious.
2) Owning an N64 doesn't mean you know awesome. Ever heard of Superman 64?
3) Super Mario Sunshine was a great game.

Before I state anything, I must defend Super Mario Sunshine. It was truly an excellent game in every reguard. The only reason it is viewed as "bad" is because it is a Mario game. If Donkey Kong were put into the game in Mario's stead (with necessary changes, of course), it would be one of the greatest games on the GCN. Unfortunately, Super Mario 64 was just too great, and the unique F.L.U.D.D. mechanic and levelllsssssssss iiiiiinnnnnnnnnn sssssppppppaaaaacccccceeeeeee just were too much of a diversion from good old fashioned Mario platforming.

However, you have to admit, the first 10 times you start running around Isle Delfino, it's truly an exciting experience.

Now, for the actual discussion at hand. I'm pretty much the only one at my school who likes Nintendo, and get constant jokes about being in a gay relationship with Mario and King Dedede. Obviously, it's because I'm not obsessive over Naruto and FPS games (or Guitar Hero, but that's a good game I just happen not to have). The "friends" I have, unfortunately, are some of those idiots. Anyone remember when Naruto Uzumaki came to the site? Yes? No? If no, thank god. He overheard me talking about digibutter to some other people (I dunno who, I was overly-excitable and it was over half a year ago), and instantly came to spam. Instead of Runescape or die, it's "Naruto or die". The hilarious thing is, of course, I actually know MORE about Naruto than those morons (it's actually a really good anime with decent action scenes and great character development that suffered the awful fate of being popular), and I am STILL the outcast. Every time I try to bring in some Mario, Kirby, Donkey Kong, Brawl, etc. into the discussion...BAM! Game over for me today, lose 50 respect points, dropped popularity charm.

Also, Runescape IS one of the dumbest MMORPG's out there. Really just a breeding ground for nerds (not "nerrs", mind you), jerks, morons, and people who got told by their friends that it was the greatest game ever. But I am NOT slaying that dang respawning chicken for six hours to finish the quest! Not again...

I'm basically just going with the philosophy, "there's always a brighter tomorrow". I'm just going to push through the crap and find someone with an IQ with more than a single digit that I can actually communicate with.

Yeah... if my friends are always being jackasses, I generally don't consider them my friends anymore.
A bit of jackassery every now and then doesn't bug me that much, (if it did I wouldn't have any friends left) but if it's constant... you're better off hanging out with someone else.

If in doubt, don't hang out.

lol, how did I come up with that?

Anyways, I don't have very many friends. My best friend is my brain (NOT EGOTISTICAL). I luffs the constant anallytical stream that comes out of it.

It's just every living being on the face of this galaxy hates it, atleast I thought. Meh, I'm insane. But I've still seen better.

Had a friend from seventh to eighth grade. Was a nice person, bla bla. Never had time. Slowly I realizes that I was only his friend when he was so bored and had no alternative. Problem is, he's a magnificent Bastard, so I kinda still miss that friendship.

Pity cake please.

me and my friends all have more or less the same taste in games, and yet not.

All four of us have Wii's, we've all got accent core but I'm the only one attempting to aquire tournament level skills at it. All of us except one like shooters, and only one of us is any good at them. All of us played runescape, and thought it was fun for a time, and then lost interest. I'm the only one who doesn't really like turn-based RPGs, but we all enjoy action RPGs.

The only problem I have is with one of them, who thinks he has non-mainstream tastes. And then he turns around and spends half his life on Stepmania and I'm sitting here going "lolwut." He also spends gratuitous amounts of time on this website, that is basically facebook/myspace/hi5 but with darker layouts and a supposedly less bright and shiny user base, and refuses to use myspace. However he doesn't seem to realise that all social utilities including the one he frequents are the same damn thing. I have dreams of telling him that the fact he's just like the anyone else with non-mainstream tastes, makes him mainstream, then I know he'll get all pissy and defensive about it and possibly have an identity crisis.
I'm nursing a semi just thinking about it....

Hmm…it’s hard for me to recall anything, that my friends have done, but today I can probably tell of an event, that really made me mad.

One Tuesday of every month, we have Taco Tuesday. I ordered two tacos, early, and went to go sit at the table with my friends. Now, at this moment, about 10 different people were switching tables every few seconds and it seemed to die down in a bit. I finished my meal of Tacos, and my friend volunteered to throw my tray away, so I gave it to him, and went to go get my biology homework. I returned back to the lunchroom and I see everybody pointing at me, and the person who watches over the lunchroom is with them. He calls me over, and my friends said that I threw a plate of tacos at them, and they had lettuce on their shirt. Also the tray was on the ground at the other side of the table. I told the man the truth, and everyone kept yelling at me to tell the truth, when I did. So, he gets angry and storms off, and a few of my friends are angry at me for telling lies, when I actually told the truth.

I just wish people don’t go around framing other people, I really don’t know why they did it…

It's because many people are too ignorant to take the blame.
