Seriously, now we'll have a massive reduction of flooding. You guys that alwasy whine on how the forums is crap now and how it used to be better, less flooding is quite a huge step up.
Think of how many things can be reduced to blogs. Opinion topics, rants on the forums, some fads... OHCRAGYES |

Hooray. Now everyone has their own playground in which many people will go, make many topics which they sticky until it's a flypaper forum.
Are we turning into MySpace or LJ ?
EDIT: To clarify my point: We hada complaint lately that the servers sink because the loads of topics make the CPU slooooooowwwww...
And now we give everyone a private forum, with a hint of power - stickying stuff - to go. Hooray.
Yes, I am rather spiteful towards Digi lately. I think it is because I would like it to return to it's median - in the sense of member behavior, as everyone seems to thinks with their d*cks lately. I actually ponder to propose disabling new account registration... But Xenophobia would be extremist, and I as a German would be the first to point out that that is bad and a path not to go down.
Anyway, I want something done, and therefore I'm doing the only thing I have the power for: Nag until things happen the way I / a collective wants to. |
