It's not video games that harm are kids! It's ANIME!! D: O:

But really. You are a guy, you were meant to be a guy, and as much as you want to be a girl, you simply can't.

Just except and be happy that you are a male.

Females aren't the only good gender in the world. Males have advantages too you know.

OOC:

Well....I never think about hating being male, but I have had, and still have, similar experiences with sexist and over-working families. I live with nothing more than my mother and grandmother. My grandfather died a while back, so I had to take on the role of the "man of the house." Worst part is, they think I am...LAZY....IRRESPONSIBLE....LOW-DOWN....JACKASS OF A CHILD......

Correction. I am not LAZY, nor IRRESPONSIBLE, nor and I am JACKASS! I am quite the personality and trait of chivalry (Really, I am), and I can be hard working for people who don't think I am WORTHLESS.

As you can tell, I have mental issues when it comes to my IRL family. I despise them so very much, yet without them I would have nowhere to go.

You should be proud of who you are. That is something I cannot obtain (for I have done things that make me regret myself at times). Of course, I am only able to influence your mind as much as these other members, and that is very little. Do what you wish, and seek what only makes you happy.

BUT BE WARNED! There are many concequinces for your actions!

As they say....be careful what you wish for.

You can have a sex change operation before you're 18, but it's very, very rare under the International Standards of Care. It's advised to wait until you are 18. See then how you feel still. In my case, it isn't a matter of changing who I am to be different, it's changing my outside to reflect my true self, the inside. It's making sex match my gender. I was meant to be a girl, yet I'm not, so I'm correcting it. Unfortunately there are a lot of harsh attitudes I'll have to face, but I'm ready for anything to attain happiness. I am not sure how you yourself feel, though. Just try and hang on.

Larry, stfu.

When you become 18, you can get a sex change. Sex changes help lots of people take better control of their lives and become who they want to be.

Don't pull your "when I was 13 I asked my pediatrician for a sex change and he said I couldn't" story out, because of COURSE you can't get a sex change at 13, you're still sexually developing. You don't even have a gender identity yet.

I still think that the only reason you keep saying "BE HAPPY WITH WHO YOU ARE" is because you're bigoted against transsexuals. Perhaps you're envious that they have a stronger sexual identity than you do?

Most people's gender identities are formed by the age of 3, according to the specialist I've been seeing. But again, most, not all. And thank you, Jolene. it's easy to tell a transgirl to just be happy with the sex they were born into, but for the transgirl it's just not happening, because her mind is basically hardwired as considering the true self female. I really can't live as a male, not happily. I speak in full seriousness - this is not mere discontent to a degree of just 'preferring' to be female. Gender dysphoria is a cruel depression, a weight that is on you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. I'm aiming to lift that weight and be who I really am in all aspects. That's when I can really live life.

I am believing that you should....how do they say, "fight the power."

It is an injustice that your parents are not accepting you for whom you are on the internal count. That downright peeves me. If you must, yell at them. Allow your rage to consume you and make sure the messege of what you are fills their mind. Of course, refrain from violence *laughs*.

Besides, your parents are the ones who are supposed to accept you for whom you are. They are the ones who are supposed to guide you through the trials that are presented to you in life. They are not to be the ones to cause those trials to worsten!

HAH! I SCOFF AT HER ACTIONS!

You're parents are playing off of their fears of their pre-planned life for you! Do not let it be so! Life presents change, and change presents the future! Go with your feelings and wits! GO!

Be free, as a bird upon the wind. I scoff at the fears of parents. They think they can make children perfect by becoming life dictators! It is not allowed due to natural order!

I curse this world for it's ways of trying to be Utopian. That is not possible.

*But, alas, who am I once to say that I had the dreams of Count Bleck?*

Jolene, if you continue to flame me I will have to call a moderator. And I do not want to do that, trust me. But really Jolene, look at what you are saying, you tell me not to get mad (which I'm not) about the whole "sex change" and you are getting mad about me saying stay who you are.

Your theory is false, Jolene. I do not have a problem with transsexuals, (CD is indeed my friend) But with those who act like the world will consume you if you live another day as a male/female is what I dislike. However, you must know that I respect them. Males and Females are both equal. There are many happy males in the world, and of course happy females. So with this said, you do not need to be a female to be happy. Be CONTENT. That will strive you to happiness though you may not know it.

Jolene, I have every right to speak, so do not tell me to shut up, or like I said, I will bring a mod to this. I RESPECT BOTH genders as well as TRANSSEXUALS as long as you do not ABUSE sex change. Like you want to be a girl just so you have boobs, and you look sexy. Or you want to be a guy just so you can have muscles and or a penis. It's a sad sad thing, but thankfully CD and I believe Fireice don't attend for this goal, but for happiness. Which is OK. So, Thanks for listening, if you are smart, don't make a harsh comment, Jolene. T.T

In regards to this statement - I will speak with consideration of my own case. I am male in only one technical sense - it is my current sex. On a deeper level, my gender (different in respect, I'd use it interchangably with gender identity) is female. It is depressing to constantly have your sex and your gender not match - at least, it is for me. If asked my sex, I'd say male. Gender, female. If generally asked if I am male or female, I'd say female, because gender identity is more important to me - who I consider myself to truly be - in contrast to something that just makes me miserable (contrary sex).

I know this isn't addressing me, but if Fireice's case is similar enough, I think I can respond. I CAN be a girl - in the sense of my technical sex. I will have my gender legally recognized as female. My name will be changed from Brian William Lewis to Sarah Jessica Lewis. And again, in the sense of my gender, I already AM a girl. It's all about becoming as complete as you can by matching the two contrasts. You lack some things that GG's (genetic girls) do, yes. But it is so much better than not doing anything. It's something that I really, really need to do. I certainly wish I was born as a GG. Or I wish I was born cisgendered and remained so, so that I wouldn't feel this way. But it's simply (or complicatedly) not the case.

Now I have seen some people say, "No matter what you do, no matter what you change, you will ALWAYS truly be a man."

Nice. But I never was truly a man. I think that is just them clinging to remind me of something that once made me miserable - that my sex was once male. And if there is no ill intent in such a statement, I believe it is one made from incomplete understanding. And I'm trying to explain things better so as to prevent that.

And, um... That's all I have to say, really. ._.

I wish I had better eyesight but instead I have contacts so I look like I have normal eyes, and it does give me joy, but in the longrun, I still have bad eye sight, I'm just hiding it.

That's what it's all about, hiding. Your male body is hiding your femine soul, so you tend to wanta hide your male body.

Although this may bring satisfaction, Freedom brings happiness, and since you hide many things about yourself, it is impossible to be free.

But still, it will bring plenty of joy!

I'm not hiding that I'm male if I'm already a girl in the sense of my gender, and am making my sex match. A sex change is a sex change, not a sex disguise... my sex will literally be female. I will once have been male in that sense, but not so afterwards. I'm not hiding what makes me male, I'm eradicating what I can of it. It's more like shedding an improper skin than it is wrapping a female cloak around it. That's what I think, anyway. ._.
