Belum falls into the water, defeated. The Temple begins to collapse, however. Link is about to be crushed when he is unexpectedly teleported out.

Meanwhile, Lineback examines the petrified Tetra. The Sea King is there, too. He teleports Link there...and Link falls on Lineback =P.

Tetra begins to return to normal! She's back!

Aw...what a touching reunion...

BELUM'S BACK!

He grabs Tetra and pulls her up to the deck of the ship!

Link, the Sea King, and Lineback follow.

Belum floats menacingly in front of the Ghost Ship, Tetra in hand.

He flies off, and possesses the Ghost Ship! It is covered with his creepy eyes.

And now, a battle at sea! I have to fire at the eyes on the ghost ship, I think.

...And I died.

I did mention that you fight the ghost ship.. right before you yelled at me about spoilers.

The ship begins to sink!

...The game prompts me to save. There must be one last battle ahead...

Link and Lineback head to the remains of the Ghost Ship, walking on a large plank.

Belum flies away again, still holding Tetra.

The ship, with the Sea King still in it, explodes!

Belum grabs Link! His sword is knocked away!

Lineback steps back, horrified. He picks up Link's sword, and shakily points it at Belum.

He heroically slices one of Belum's tentacles off, making him release Link!

Link wakes up, thanks to Sierra, and sees Lineback trying to hold off Belum. Tetra is on another piece of the Ghost Ship.

Belum grabs Lineback!

Lineback tosses Link's sword back to him.

Link heroically points the sword at Belum.

It seems that Belum is about to devour Lineback's Force!

...No...it's much worse...

Belum possesses Lineback, transforming him into a terrible monster, reminiscent of the Phantoms!

Here we go...I'll tell you what I needed to do later. I'll also tell you the ending, albeit in spoiler tags.

Nice music...it's a more threatening version of Lineback's theme.

I attempt to freeze time, but even with the Hourglass Sword, my blows can't penetrate Belineback's (c wut I did thar?) armor.

Sierra attempts to look for a weak spot, but she's trapped by Belum!

...And I die.

which is what my statement meant. you freeze time, you do no damage, and your fairy get taken.

Ah...now I see! I simply keep attacking him, and eventually, I get something akin to the "Chance" option in TP's final fight. I attack him, and Sierra can give me some energy for my freeze time thingie. I then wait until Belum's eye opens, and freeze time to attack it.

yep. and if you keep that up, you'll beat the game. I'm telling you right now, there are no more fights after this. just the end. have you noticed they overdid bosses' weakpoints being eyes?

Belum comes off of Lineback. ...And he begins turning into sand...

Tetra wakes up.

...She waves to Link, who waves back.

Link points his sword at the sand. The Phantom Hourglass absorbs it, and the skies begin to clear.

Lineback wakes up, and seems to be frightened.

He looks sadly at his own hands, probably because he had attacked Link.

He shakes his head sadly when he sees Link.

He seems somewhat sheepish after Link apparently apologizes.

...Weird noise...

The sand from the Phantom Hourglass is released, and spreads across the ocean.

A giant wave comes, and a whale (the Sea King) jumps out of the water majestically!

...Yep, it's definitely the Sea King.

Sierra says something which Lineback seems a bit annoyed about.

The red and blue fairies leave, and Sierra has to go, as well. Lineback fakes indifference, but it's obvious that he doesn't want her to go. Link is about to touch her one last time before she leaves, and the credits roll.
