...And then, of course, the post-credits scene.
Link and Tetra now lie on the mysteriously repaired Ghost Ship.
A familiar figurehead slides into view...
Revealing Tetra's band of pirates!
Link humorously falls on his face when getting onto the ship.
Something about 10? They've been saying the number 10 a lot...
Link spots something!
...But it turns out to be nothing...
He brings out the Phantom Hourglass, which is now empty.
...And he spots Lineback sailing away.
FIN

Even after beating the final boss, there's still stuff to do. I only have 13 hearts out of the possible 20, so that leaves 7 Heart Containers to find.
BTW, I don't know if I mentioned this, but Pieces of Heart are gone. Instead, you just find the full Heart Container.
In addition, I recently got a chalkboard. Across the sea, there are four frogs. If you hit the frogs with a bomb, they show you a symbol. Draw the symbol on your chalkboard, and you'll instantly warp to the place you found the frog.
Plus, there's a trading quest. |

It goes on after you beat the last boss? That's a first. |

No, you can still face the last boss as many times as you want. There isn't anything gained from beating it except the ending. It's just that I haven't completed the game 100% yet. |

Huh...well, I wish I had known that sooner. Apparently, you can get more sand for the Phantom Hourglass from treasure chests under the ocean, as well.
EDIT: XD is that an island shaped like a DS? It's an island shaped like a DS! AWESOME! |

lol, double post.
Anyway, I managed to find a translation for the post-credits scene.
When Link and Tetra board the ship, Niko asks them what they've been doing for the past 10 minutes. Naturally, the two are surprised that they've evidently been gone for only ten minutes. Niko suggests that it was just a dream, something which Tetra scolds him for, after everything that she and Link had been through. Link suddenly notices that the Ghost Ship has disappeared without a trace, when it was right by them just a few seconds ago.
Long story short, Link proves Niko's theory wrong by still having the Phantom Hourglass, and by Lineback's ship right there. |
