I think I actually got stuck in a lucid dream, I mean STUCK. It was so freaking weird... I go to a new school, and it's the exact same... and my teacher is just like my current science teacher... But she's really REALLy fat, I mean, she's already a bit chubby lol, but I mean, the dream made her huge. Apperantly it was so awkward I realized I had to be dreaming. I'm going to skip the next part, because I'm ashamed of it, and then I did whatever I wanted. The coppers were onto me, so I wanted to gtf out of there.
I ran into the "Child" Of my sister and her boy friend, which I knew was just a dream, because 1. They're not married yet, 2. She was exactly my age, and 3. She was blonde. Neither my sister Nor her boyfriend are blonde.
She told me the only way to get out would be to go to the core of my dream, and break the ball. I did so, going through a spiral staircase in a metallic world, and the moment I hit the sphere
Mom: Time to wake up! |

I've had a slightly lucid dream before. I mean, I wasn't the god of my own world, I was completely powerless. It was YEARS ago, so all I can remember was trying with all the willpower I had to wake up. It never worked.
More recently, I've had LIMITED control over dreams, to the point where I can think and remember my dream, but I can't turn stuff into things or create things. If I ever did have a lucid dream, oh man, it'd be pretty awesome. I'd turn my arm into a cannon. C: |

I don't always dream, but sometimes when I do, I get a lucid dream.
But it's never something epic. It's just usually everyday things like going to school or lurking the intarwebz. |

Dud, If it's lucid, you can do whatever you want. Which means, forget the bus to school, FLY. |

Our dreams happen as a result of our brain making sense and organizing new information. If you had large amounts of stress and anxiety all the time, it would of course be integrated into your brain as you slept, and you would experience anxiety. Now when there is nothing to be afraid of and we experience anxiety our brain identifies something to be afraid of, in your case nightmares.
So it's really on whats your mind, not what you are feeling. |
