Seriously, it's obvious.
It's freeware? O_O

DAMNIT I WISH I COULD FIND IT
Seriously, where do you get it?

And what IS it, anyway? o.o

It's a 2D vertical shooter. it looks kickass, but I can't find it ANYWHERE.
Then why do you call it freeware? >_>

It's still free, it's just... rare.
I MUST FIND IT

Here's EoSD.

Go find the translation patch yourself.

When did I ask for a translation patch? Neutral

Most people like to understand the games they play.

If I weren't too lazy I'd kill this quote pyramid. it's getting out of hand.

If you don't have the language the game is in, your computer can't run it.

so you need to install that language, which I'm assuming is Japanese.

is it?

Hello thar and welcome to Nersop's Freeware Games Minute. I've got a fresh helping of new and somewhat interesting freeware games to show you all this evening, so I hope you'll enjoy it.

------------------------------------------------------

Tower is a Roguelike game using 3-D ASCII symbols (for some weird reason). Otherwise it's basic Roguelike. If you don't know what the Roguelike genre is, I'd suggest you Wiki it before you try this one.

Seven Minutes is a strange, trippy, and rather hard to describe platformer. It's one of those things that you just have to download yourself and judge for yourself (I kind of had to google up a walkthrough for a lot of it so far >.>)

Stargirl and the Thief from the Exploded Moon is a game that resembles Lyle in Cube Sector, only without the exploration/Metroid-ish elements, and more along the lines of level-by-level Mario-esque gameplay. It's decent enough for a Fusion game. Also fat jokes. Also gigantic freaking weird game name.

Everyone Loves Active 2 is a strange arena shooter that seems to create a formation of enemies from the words you type in to name it. I'm not quite sure how it works, but I've had fun experimenting with it, despite how basic it is. The graphics are purty, though.

Deaths is an "unexpected crap kills you out of nowhere" type game, but to help you along, it loads the dead bodies of the last 50 people online to die in that level to give you hints about what goes on in the level. I love it just because of that amazing concept.

Fantastic Blood Boy is a creepy fusion game where you play as some little vampire... thing. The point? Protect this gem from aliens while bathing in the blood of your enemies. Creepy, but surprisingly fun.

And as always, I will now post the one I liked the most at the end:

Jimmy’s Lost His Toilet Paper is the WEIRDEST puzzle platformer I've played... ever. Each level has a line of toilet paper you have to collect and return to the commode... but it's apparently made of the strongest substance known to man, and therefore can't break. It's crazily interesting and I really suggest a play.

------------------------------------------------------

This has been the Freeware Games Minute, I'm Nersop. Goodnight, folks.

Hello boys and girls, I come yet again with a new batch of interesting Freeware Games. Some of the ones I've got for you today are definite "must-plays" so keep your eyes open and take a look!

Frets On Fire is a Guitar Hero clone in which the creator has opted to try and make you pick up your keyboard and hold it like a guitar to play the game. It's really dumbed down, and the default music choice is crappy, so I hope you like making your own songs Razz

Every Extend plays like a weird combination of a Shoot-em-up and a chain reaction flash game. It's pretty much a score attack, so it's not as interesting without someone to compete with. The graphics are nice, though.

Plasma Warrior is a Metroid/Vania type exploration game. I just kinda like it due to the retro feel it has. Don't know much about any further features besides run and shoot, though... as I haven't gotten that far into it.

Paroxysm is a Prince of Persia clone... only set in what looks like a slaughterhouse. Not a great download for people who don't like blood squish noises. There's a lot of those.

Vivid Conceptions is a puzzle platformer with an interesting feel to it. This is one of those that's hard to explain. It got a little boring for me after a few levels, but it seemed to me that some would like this more than I did.

Plasma Worm is like playing Snake while you're on acid. And also if the controls were a bit different (left makes the head curve left, right curves right... it takes some getting used to, but it's not bad)

Swarm Racer is a Time Attack racing game in which you control an entire swarm of bees. You have to keep the bees together for the whole track, and sometimes it's tricky. It's a neat download.

And last but not least:

Acid Bomb is an AMAZING puzzle game that kind of reminds me of Minesweeper... but only if they took Minesweeper and fleshed the whole thing out. Acid Bomb is one of those games that once you start playing, you won't stop until you realize you've been playing too long. This one is a MUST download in my opinion.

So there you have it, folks. Plenty of new games for you all to play. Happy playing! =D

Frets on Fire is anything but epic. It may be an okay replication of Guitar Hero, but it lacks a hammer-on system, making playing most Expert level songs impossible.

I made no reference of it being the best thing ever. I just listed it for the sake of it being interesting that it even exists.

Don't take things so literally. "Epic" Freeware Games is just the title of the thread, it doesn't mean that every game in this thread has to be the pinnacle of amazing.

I'm simply saying games like Guitar Zero deserve more of a mention than Frets on Fire.

Also, bump.

Today, folks, I have a single freeware game for you all to gaze at. Guess what? It has to do with the AVGN!

The AVGN in Pixel Land Blast is a shooter where you shoot up the shitty games that suck ass. The game is suprisingly fun. It has nine levels, all which climax in a boss every three. There is one secret level, but you'll have to beat the game to find out how to unlock it!

To give you some info on this game, the first boss is the Power Glove, which is labeled "Power Gauntlet". Every two levels (and after a boss), you play a bouns level where you collect consoles and avoid dead skunks. After you collect a lot of consoles, you earn a 1up.

You can collect Shit Pickle when he appears. Use him, and all the games on screen are eliminated.

Controls:

Arrow keys: Move
Z key: Shoot, hold down for rapid fire
X key: Use Shit Pickle
