It's just another Sonic Rivals with a shitty fighting engine and terrible music. |

Sonic 2 had a plot o_o |
Well yeah, sure it didn't really matter because nobody really read the instruction booklets back in those days but there was one. The ending part of the trailer is what really reminded me of Sonic 2. |
Oh right... the instruction manual... I gotta pop in Sonic Mega Collection and give that another read. |

oh come on, SSSS-BLAM. Whether you like it or not, you have to admit that music is one thing Sega puts a lot of effort into.
I didn't like Secret Rings very much, but this looks, um, pretty different. As long as you don't have to literally steer Sonic through the pure platforming levels... |

The Sonic series' music has always been its highlight even in some of the worse games. Sonic 3, in my opinion, had some of the best music in any game ever (and Micheal Jackson allegedly helped with the soundtrack, lulz)
Unleashed looks like it'll be good. At very least a good starting block for rebuilding. I'm not expected something blow me away from Sonic Team as they're pretty much at the bottom of the barrel right now.
But if they can learn what's ruined them in recent years and what drew people to the series in the first place, we may be looking at a good new era.
Or they might just botch this game and I'll have wasted a lot of optimism on it... again. We'll see. |

You know it's true. |
