It really didn't like cold. The vines started to freeze, but the tower flared up with light, melting the ice.

Nature just kept on as he tried to uproot the vines and move it out of his way.

You always want at least half the length of your sword in dirt covering its mouth. It would tear away Nature's arms faster than he could completely regrow them.

Nature then tried another tactic. Instead of pulling the whole thing at the same time, he tried pulling the vines in an attempt to move the creature.

And thanks to the soft soil there was not much keeping the creature from being moved

It always kept its vines spaced out, placing them where they could could get the best reach, while still being able to attack anything that is attacking one of the other vines. He was going to have one hell of a time trying to move the thing.
