I hope EVERYONE in the art is a main character. And I don't mean like toadbert's role in PiT, I mean something bigger.
Because the koopa with a bucket, the goomba with a night cap, the pig-turtle-thing, and ESPECIALLY the shy guy holding tools are all awesome. |

And those block beings are weird. Maybe the D-Block is there to get the Brothers to stop robbing (and also killing) ?-Blocks..? And the Man-Block is the D-Block's owner, but is too much of a coward to stop it?

Since it looks like Bowser's about to eat the bros on the boxart, I can assume this "playing as Bowser" is going to last a bit.
The good news is that we get to play as RPG Bowser. The bad news is that there's no Mario and Luigi working together like we know in Superstar Saga and Partners in Time, which was a fun little gimmick. |
