And once again I offer suggestions stolen from inspired by the SRB2 forums.
Mods and admins there have the ability to temporarily ban a person via a fun little button on top of every post, either temporarily, or permanently if the right conditions apply. And it's organized fairly over there, I think. Although there are like, 5 admins and 7 mods over there. Not kidding.
Anyways, what I suggest is a Ban Hammer item for trusted mods. It works similar to the jail key, except it goes all of the way and completely bans the person for an amount of time.
Just a suggestion. |

Being jailed and being banned is basically the same *crag* thing, guys. The only difference is that it allows you to contact the moderators through alternative means than email.
Being jailed for a day and being banned for a day are hardly an different. |

I don't know. It seems thats all he does to make people happy these days. Besides I wasn't being too serious about the mod thing.
But we really don't need another admin in a small forum like this. |

We have enough mods right now, and half of them don't do shit as it is.

Well, the difference is that it is incredibly common for people in the Jail to be a gigantic annoyance, so banning would really be more efficient. |

We don't need more admins or mods$ We need more powers for the existing moderators$ Possibly by abolishing the prison key item and adding [jail] and [ban] buttons on posts for Mods and Admins$ The jail button would do the same thing as the key, the ban button would file a report that works like the voteban feature we think we need$
