Anyway, Paper Luigi, If you look around the water somewhere in the room before the fight with the core, you'll find a rope. Use it on Curly once the water fills the area, and you'll start to carry her around.
Booster actually survives, but you have to do the least logical thing and jump over the gap he fell in. He'll be somewhere else right as rain, and gives you the upgraded Booster Pack.
To get the Nemisis, you need to find a small man somewhere in the Cemetary, and return him to his family, who live on the stone and metal sections hanging off the island. |

Having trouble with Hell.
Okay, so i'm at 30/50 max health to begin with, because I was such an IDIOT and got hit by a bunch of boulders before endering the shack. So, after getting the Health capsule, i'm at 35 HP. I DID save Curly, so that really helps. I can get past the room with the falling rocks, but the next room is so long and hard! I died shortly after finding those rock-throwing enemies.
Any tips?

Spur
Super Missles
Fireball
Bubbler

Well I, a few days ago, went ahead and downloaded Cave Story. It's incredible and I've enjoyed every bit of it. The first playthrough, I didn't save Curly and got the Booster 0.8, and got the average ending. It was great. I then played through a second time with Curly saved and Booster 2.0, and beat the game with a perfect run. I then proceeded to go through hell... It was incredibly hard, but I got through it with a few tries. Did it with the Spur, and without the Nemesis. I even got the bonus dialog line with the Little Man segment because I never turned him home. And thus I ended my first Hell run with 16 minutes on the clock.
An incredibly fun game. I'll be playing this all week and the week after that. I love it. |
