Coming from an unknown kingdom, not much is known about the hunter known as X. Their are many theories, but the most popular idea is that he was exiled from a land of assassins. He is usually peacful, but will not hesitate to fight when needed. He is a master hunter and is competent with most weapons, but his favourites are the dagger and crossbow he conceals in his cloak. He never attacks the weak or innocent, but will perform assassinations on evil villains.
(Meh, I figured that there would be at least one warrior kingdom in the Mario universe...)

X looked around the safehouse. Not much but yoshies and mushroomers. Confident that there was no threat here, he relaxed a little. The sudden attack by these invaders had even taken him by suprise. He had moved back into this safehouse a few moments ago, despite his instincts to enter the fight. No, the time to fight would be later...

A sudden thud jerked him back into awareness. Looking around, X saw the famous Mario closing the door to the safehouse. Not moving from his spot in the corner X watched Mario move through the building...
