Ocarina of Time, I've spent more time on that game then any other game. Its endless fun. After that, its any Valve game. Valve kicks ass and takes names.
As a huge rhythm gamer, I pretty much orgasmed when I heard about Rock Band for the first time. Sadly, I got the sub-par PS2 port of the original, that was still pretty damn amazing when it came to premise.
But we got a PS3 recently and Rock Band 2. Meaning downloadable content, online play and improved graphics. I was in heaven, and then I saw the game's track list, and I went to a level beyond that.
I don't really have a favorite, but I guess my Top Ten picks would be {in no particular order}:
* = Currently Owned # = Previously Owned (lost or given away) ^ = Rented or Borrowed (temporarily owned)
#1 ~ Super Metroid {One of my very first video games, if not THE first...my love for Metroid probably comes from my dad, who's probably more of a fan than I am. It's a shame I lost it...}
*2 ~ Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest {Oh, the hours my older sister (now my younger brother) spent playing it together...this ties with #Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble or whatever the full title is.}
*3 ~ Super Mario World {I still play it to this day.}
*4 ~ Paper Mario {I still play it regularly, and I always get a nostalgia rush from it.}
^5 ~ Pokemon Stadium 2 {Not the most expected choice, but really, I loved this game more than anything back in the days when I was able to rent it. But nooooo, now game stores are too cool to let you rent N64 games. D:}
#6 ~ Donkey Kong 64 {I played it obsessively until I lost it, along with a large amount of my other N64 and SNES games. whyyyyyyy D:}
^7 ~ Kirby 64 {It's just that awesome.}
^8 ~ Ape Escape {I haven't played it for a looong time, but for the short time we had it, I was either playing it obsessively or watching my sister play it.}
*9 ~ Kirby and the Amazing Mirror {One of the few Kirby games that takes more than a few hours to beat, especially if you're going for 100%.}
