A single bullet from Alexander's gun made a resounding "ting" off of the steel cage, one whizzed right past her ear (Cutting off a strand of hair), and one produced a perfect little hole in her dress.
Melodie looked down.
"That...
Missed by a hair. Ahahahah...~"
With a smirk on her face, she reloaded her guns and fired at anybody nearby. |

Alexander was hit by a bullet in the shoulder, causing him to drop his gun. He pulled his sword out with his only functioning hand, and ran over to where the bullet made a "bing" noise, attempting to stab through the bars. |

The massive blue beam struck down upon the cage, turning half of it to dust. Melodie jumped out of the way, back pressed against the bars Alexander was stabbing at.
After nearly being incinerated, she was breathing heavily.

The timer hit one as Alexander's sword emerged from Melodie's gut.
She pulled herself forward and the sword out. Blood dripping on the wires below, she staggered out of the cage and started down the stairs.
Halfway down, a small, shiny sphere flew out the window and crashed against a car parked below.
"That was... Good. Hah... Ahahahahahah...~" |

He dusted himself off and headed to Alexander with a slight limp due to some damage to his right leg being extensive. However, he turned away from the gunman before speaking. "Hmph. Don't think I owe you anything for stealing the glory. I could have delivered the last blow myself." He limped again, this time, to look at the car that had been hit by an object. His eyes widened. His own car had been hit by the sphere. "MY LIMO!" Something in him disposed of the limp, and Kaiba dashed to the elevator booth located on the roof. He pressed the ground floor button quickly and headed to his limo, which now had a large hole in its roof. He found the culprit when he opened the passenger's side door. A highly cracked sphere. It's anti-magic ability had ceased. He scooped it up. "Whatever this is, it hit my limo...it's mine now." |

That would be accompanied by Alexander jumping off the roof, and straight on top of the car in a indescribably awesome fashion. Of course, not after tossing his gun and sword down, which landed in front of him, the sword now stuck in the roof of the presumably crumpled mess of a limo.

Kaiba simply sat there for about a half a minute, a blank look in his eyes...before snapping back into reality. He scoffed. "Whatever. I've got a dragon jet. What do I need a limo for, anyways?" He turned around and began to head back into his company, but stopped. He took one last over-the-shoulder glance at Alexander. "By the way, amateur, if you're going to pull a stunt like that, at least make sure the car explodes on the way down. Oh, and drop the poseur. I give it a four out of ten." With that, he laughed as he went back into his building, probably to research and repair the mysterious sphere. |
