She didn't even realize that she was not on the ground.

[Aran Ryan]

The 'boss' then pressed another button to put his voice on the announcement intercom.

"Kammy Koopa, please report to my office immediately."

[Medikoopa]

Kammy stopped berating a magikoopa about the way he was holding his wand and started heading towards the boss's office.

[Aran Ryan]

The door to Kamrilo's office opened up as soon as Kammy approached it.

"Good morning. I would like to have a status report on what's been going down on the assembly line, please."

[Medikoopa]

"Overall it has been fairly good. For example, on the occasion there are inept idiots that can't hold their wands right or stand a little out of line."

[Aran Ryan]

"Yeah... they're not used to their new bodies, I guess. I mean, about two hundred of them come out of the cloning machine a day. Maybe as a punishment, you can threaten the idiots that they will be forced on the front lines if they don't cooperate properly."

He leaned foward and placed the Star Rod on his desk.

"Half of the ransom seems to be completed. But, they still didn't give us the money. Either way, those weaklings around this world will crumble."

[Medikoopa]

Kammy was surprised. "They actually parted with that?"

[Aran Ryan]

"I captured one a troop from Dark Land and forced her to steal it for me. I pretty much knew that no one else would know where it was since it wasn't in that loser-filled Star Haven in the first place."

"As for the Koopa who completed the job, I sent her off. But, she's in a bit of a withdrawl."

[Medikoopa]

That got her curious.

"How come, sir?"

[Aran Ryan]

"Just 'cause I had to get her motivated... by continuously calling her a weakling and telling her that no one would care if she died."

He let out a chuckle.

"Hey, anything to get the plan moving along."

[Medikoopa]

"A bit harsh, don't you think?" Kammy muttered.

[Aran Ryan]

Kamrilo slammed his hands on his desk violently. Surprisingly, the desk didn't fall to pieces.

"TO ME, NOTHING IS TOO HARSH! I'LL DO WHATEVER IT TAKES TO MAKE SURE I GET WHAT I NEED AND WHAT I WANT TO SEE HAPPEN!"

He then sat back down.

"Pardon me for that outburst. It's just questions like that make me want to strangle someone."

[Dark Ultimario]

A tear in space itself had appeared, and Dark Ultimario stepped through.

He had actually been aiming for somewhere nearby, but teleporting long distances wasn't his specialty.

Of course, he intended to make it look like he was exactly where he wanted. Instantly recognizing Kamek from that news broadcast, He somehow knew that these were the guys who made that ransom on the news broadcast.

((Kamek's already being taken to his cell and is probably now out of view, so...))

"The name's Dark Ultimario. I heard you've got somebody captive and are holding a ridiculously high ransom for him, so I figured that he must hold some value for you to think that highly of-"

He had noticed the Star Rod.

"What the heck is THAT? It looks it has enough power to blow up a planet. Wait...don't tell me somebody actually accepted your ransom and that's that Star Rod you were talking about?

Of course, Dark Ultimario did not like the idea of somebody else having an object that powerful, even if he had no idea what it was. He would probably steal it the first chance he got.

[Aran Ryan]

Kamrilo stared at Dark Ulti.

"Why must I tell an uninvited guest about this?" He asked, holding the Star Rod in his firm grip. "That would be like kicking myself in the ass for exposing such a secret."

[Medikoopa]
