Tom Nook ran the most succesful shop in Smashville with his nephews, Timmy and Tommy, however business was slow when the Smash Tourney came to town.
"Hmmm..." Tom Nook thought, looking out the window at the huge floating platform that had been set up for the multi-dimensional fighters. "How I'd like to get back into the ring..." Tom Nook said.
Suddenly, he noticed a golden letter place where the normal letters would usually be, he walked over and read it.

I have heard your wishes and am granting you an oppurtunity to be in the Smash Tourney,
the Tourney leaves tommorow across the other dimensions.

Smiling, Tom Nook left the shop, preparing for the Tournament, leaving his nephews in control of the shop.
