Sorry about this but I just wanted to improve your team CK. And congrats for having all 3 starters. Now I added and replaced some moves for your team so the ones in Bold I put.
Now may I say something about Torterra? Now since Torterra is more of an offensive pokemon with its Defense as its second best stats (I won't count HP yet) you would need EQ(Earthquake) and Wood Hammer for boost. Wood Hammer gets STAB and something useful. It hits the most popular rapid spinner like Claydol and Starmie. Plus Wood Hammer gets another boost by Overgrow (Though it won't take effect unless Torterra's HP is low). Stone Edge would hit Flying types which could kill Grass types. Now since Torterra has a lot of HP but not good SP defense, thats where Synthesis comes in. You can also use Leech Seed for recovery and draining the enemy's HP, but you don't get as many HP as you get from Synthesis. I would suggest Synthesis in case you are facing Ice or Flying Types. But because there are some pokemon which could knock out Torterra easily (For instance, Abomasnow) you can use Leech Seed. For those who wants to annoy opponents and to slowly weaken them, Leech Seed is your choice. Stealth Rock is there to stall but you don't have to use it
Now for Infernape: Ah my favorite Pokemon and Sweeper. Infernape has mad amounts of Attack and with Sword Dance to boost it up, Infernape will be one scary strong Gibbon. Now I gave your Infernape all 3 Physical Moves. Blast Burn is optional just in case but if your facing a Flying type opponent, then Stone Edge is your friend. now since you have 2 strong fire moves, you can get rid of one (I personally would get rid of Blast Burn) Now you got Close Combat, Flare Blitz, and Stone Edge which is optional for you. Sword Dance is a must to boost up all 3 of those moves. Flare Blitz and Close Combat would do major damage to many pokemons. In case your fighting a Salamence, Gyardois or any other Flying and Water and Dragon, Stone Edge will help you.
Now for Empoleon. I have two possible movesets for Empoleon: Ice Beam Surf Grass Knot Agility OR Ice Beam/Toxic Surf Aqua Ring Protect The first moveset is a Special Sweeper. Since Empoleon's best stat is Sp Attack, all these will do good. Grass Knot is there in case your facing a water type. It will do major damage to big water types such as Wailord or Milotic. However, since Empoleon has a very low speed, use Agility to boost it up so it will go first and sweep. The second moveset is a Special Wall Empoleon and a staller which I would personally choose since you have a sweeper in your team (Infernape, Rayquaza, Mespirit) you would need at least one staller in your team just in case your facing a team of sweepers. Now if your Empoleon is holding a leftover, then you would need Aqua Ring for additional HP. Protect is a free turn where you gain even more HP. Toxic is there in case your oponent has an advantage over Empoleon or has mad amount of HP. Ice Beam will kill Dragon types. But since you have Rayquaza and Mespirit in your team, Ice Beam won't really be needed so I suggest Toxic
Your Honchkrow is good but I personally don't like HM moves and plus you need at least one defensive moves. Having all attack isn't really that good. Nasty Plot will boost up Dark Pulse since its a SP attack move and Honchkrow is mostly a Pychical attacking Pokemon so Aerial Ace and Night Slash is a good choice and plus it gets STAB so good job on that.
Since Mespirit is a balanced pokemon, almost any moves will do. So your Mespirit is fine. However if you ever face a Ghost Type then Shadow Ball is recomanded. but if you face a Dark Type with Mespirit, then you shoud switch out.
Rayquaza is uber and has mad attack/sp attack/defenses so no need for a defensive move. Ice Beam and Flamethrower is in there because you already have a Dragon Type move, Dragon Claw which is already strong so no need for another Dragon move. In case your facing an Ice Type, Flamethrower is your friend.
Thats it. I hope I wasn't any bother CK. I just wanted to help. If theres anyone else's team that wants to be improved post your team here. (C)s to Serebii for some of this info. The other parts were personally what I would've done. ---- What? Are you guys suprised that I know Pokemon a lot? Suprising eh? Well, I just did research on movesets to improve my team so yeah...I guess thats where my knowledge came from...XD |
Number one, I can't make those moves appear out of no where, and number two, I'm fine with my more offensive team, but I think I will consider adding some of those moves (such as Shadow Ball to Mesprit, and Ice Beam and Flamethrower to Rayquaza). Oh, and um, I don't really use the HM moves my Honchkrow and Empoleon have in battle unless I really need to for some reason. I just have those there because I don't like having a seperate pokemon I have to take out of the PC just to fly/surf. Oh and um, I'm not really for those Netbattle type movesets, they seem stupid since it requires you to use retarded and weak moves. Sorry. |

I think Bandit is right with giving you that moveset suggestion. The only problem is getting Aqua Ring, since it's an Egg Move. |

I once used a TM, made my Pokémon forget it and then I went to the Move Tutor and it was there. I think it only works once with the same move. |

What the crap does stone edge do? It sounds stupid. And why do you have 5 moves on Torterra? And how do you make Pokemon learn those 'egg moves'? Do you have to breed them and hatch the egg and start all over again with training it? |

You have to breed the Pokemon you want the egg move on (It has to be female) with the pokemon that has the egg move (Has to be male). And then yeah, train it up like normal.
I never use egg moves. I don't have the patience for it >_>
(I think the genders are right, but I'm not totally sure) |

Torterra has got 5 moves, because you can choose some moves. And Egg Moves are gotten by bredding the Pokémon you want to learn the move with another that has the move. And yes, you have to start all over again.
Stone Edge has a power of 100, an accuracy of 80, is physical and has got an high critical hit ratio. PP is 5 |

Screw the egg moves! It's too much work to do that (it took me 2 months to get my team how it is now!). I'll replace the egg moves with something else. |

You're right. It's too much work to re-train Empoleon! |

So how exactly am I going to get these moves? The only move I have gotten so far is Torterra's Wood Hammer (which I don't exactly like because it takes damage on Torterra too) |
