Why you ask? This is why.

First race: Failure for you to get the hang of it.

Second race: A little bit of fun, but nothing more.

Third race: A perfect balance of fun, and stable races.

Last race: Extremely fun, but very messed up, and awkward to play in due to hazzards.


It also works with the cups, because star cup is my fav. Mushroom is for you to get the hang of it, flower has some good fun in it, but few hazzards, star cup has enough hazzards to still be fun, and special cup seems like it was made by a drunk monkey, or in some cases funky.
