Now, I just made this up, so don't go looking for proof or anyhing.
I was just wondering what it would be like if the top-selling game, Portal were to be turned into a movie.
Personally, I believe some fancy movie company could pull it off quite well, if they were to put a little more story behind it.
What do you think? |

I don't think that it would be good. Considering the game is in first-person, what would the movie be in. The game is fun because of the game play, the movie would be boring, the dark humor wouldn't be enough to support it. |

It could be a comedy about the turrets. C: |

I have to agree with Cyber. Portal works best as a video game. Solving the puzzles is what makes it fun, and you wouldn't get that from a movie. A Half-Life movie would be a bit more feasible. With a TF2 cartoon short at the beginning. |

A TF2 parody done by Robot Chicken would be freaking epic. Yeah, a HL2 movie would work. |

Movie characters are often presented with dilemmas or puzzles that they must solve in order to "Win". I don't see how it's any different. Well, instead of thinking about as just a game, try to picture it as a movie instead. |

Technically, you can see yourself through a portal. Just shoot two portals at parallel walls, and look through one. Another way is the infamous Inifinite Portal Technique. |

1. that one point that everyone's made. it wouldn't be as good as a movie as opposed to a game.
2. Look at the past. making a movie based on a video game has never worked. they always suck. |
