Why should he become a mod?
He has over 5 years of experiance helping run his brother's game. He might not be loved around there, but that's because he does his job, unlike those other GMs who sit on their asses all day. He regrets having to do his job sometimes, and he even tried a few times to avoid it. It was inevitable, however, that M'aiq would just choose duties over popularity.
Why is he running for mod?
M'aiq can see clearly that hardly anybody is going to take this position seriously, so he decided to run for this spot so we have another serious name on the poll.
What will he do?
M'aiq will delete flood topics as they become a nuisence. Lord Bowser's 'attack waves' come to mind. He will also delete topics that have absolutly no purpose, like the ones that just have a jumble of letters. If it's pointless, sure, it is allowed, but if it is outright spam, it will be destroyed and reported. Hopefully things will begin to get at least some order around here.
When will he do it?
Now, obviously. M'aiq is on these forums almost all day as he plays BYOND. He already watches the Dump closely, checking back every 5-15 minutes.
What will happen to M'aiq?
Obviously, M'aiq will try his best to remain the same he has been. If the Dump turns out like Builders Fantasy has before, however, he will have no choice but to ignore everything else until his job is done.
