My brother got Marth first through SSE, but Ness was the first and only one I unlocked through normal means. ALL THE OTHERS WERE UNLOCKED THROUGH STUPID, FUN EATING, SSE. |

Whoever you get first by doing VS. Matches. That's how I unlocked all characters in a little over 2-3 hours. |
