Hmm... Well, to me, it looks like every other 3-D Sonic adventure. LIKE CRAP! Seriously, all you do the ENTIRE game is run around! I fail to find fun in even the depths of this game. |

Linearity isn't always a bad thing. This game actually looks like fun... maybe worthy of a rent, but it'll be a good first step in getting out of the pile of shit Sega's dug themselves into. |

1st concern: The Camera switches view point 5 times in a minute without any warning. This looks annoying and unplayable.
2nd concern: Like many 3D Sonic Games, the game doesn't take any advantage from the 3rd dimension, besides the graphics. That game probably could have been made on the Super NES or the Genesis - except the graphics won't be those of current generation games, and the SNES or Genesis maybe won't hold many levels on one cartridge.
They seriously should take the powerful capacities of the current generation consoles - and by that I don't mean motion sensors, but rather what Gameplay element they could put IN the game (superior bosses and enemies, for example).
Not to mention that this game is especially "hold the right button all the way through the level" except that you occasionally have to switch to "up" without any warning. |
