((Because I keep making all sorts of Runescape-based topics in OT and BlogNerr, I decided to make this. Writing this from my character's POV.))

Day XX-XX
I died, again, but this time my losses were severe. I suspect my decision to go into the sewers alone was influenced by that Dwarven Ale my friend passed to me in the tavern. Because I died in the sewers, no one happened to come across my grave and keep it from disrepair. I had to run all the way from Lumbridge to Varrock, and by the time I reached the sewer enterance, the marker had fallen apart! Should had sprung for the extra money to get a better grave marker, then.

I lost my 2-handed Iron Sword, my Iron Full Helm, a Wizard Hat, and I'm not sure what else.

Naturally, I'm miffed. Iron ore has a 50% chance of smelting, so if it fails, its gone! It took me ages to get the iron bars to just make the iron items.

I suspect that I had some special items in my bag of holding, but I'm going to go mine for more iron after I get some money to buy a decent pickaxe. Mithril, this time. And while I'm in Lumbrige, I'll spring for the best gravemarker non-members can buy.

Also, instead of wearing heavy iron things, I slapped on some leather items, a cape, and a tiara. Not the nicest things to wear while mining, but it serves better protection than naught from scorpions. (And those things are BIG!)

Er... Okay, I got a normal gravestone (which is two levels higher than the default "wooden signpost" grave marker. 500 coins. I could had gotten the Ornate Gravestone, but that thing is 5000 gold coins! Too much for me right now.

Let's see... Gold, check. Better grave marker, check. Food, triple check. Armor, check.

Double checking the map... and... Okay. I want to go up along the path to Asgaria, then head on north. To the large mountain mines! Got pounced by a Highwayman along the way, but I literally kicked his ass.

Okay, I just reached the Asgarian capital, Falador. If I just go north, I'll reach the Dwarven Mines.

Day XX-XY
After checking to see if anyone purchased my wares at the Grand Exchange, I decided to see what the Mind Talisman did. You see, I had gone through the trouble to collect the set, so I wanted to see if they did what I suspected. They did. I was led from Falador, through the wilderness, ran past a couple of black bears, and came upon strange ruins. The centermost stone object was glowing a faint brown, so I suspected it had something to do with the Mind Talisman. I pressed the item against the rock and found myself teleported to a temple-like place. Underground, if my suspicions are correct.

When I touched the altar, the Rune Essances I had been carrying at the time were lifted out of my bag of holding and into the air. As they floated around the altar, a blast of magic energy hit them, imprinting the rune of mind-based magic.

Surprised, I stepped backwards, only to fall into a patch of light which sent me back to the ruins.

After collecting my bearings, I returned to Falador and purchased some of that Wizard Mind Bomb liquor from that tavern. The event had shaken my nerves a tad, but an idea was formulating in my mind. I could, perhaps, take more of my Rune Essances, bless them with the Rune of Mind, and worry no more about having to buy any more Runes from the other adventurers, who surely price them too high.

It took two more trips, but I had made one hundred Mind Runes total. Remembering that I had the Staff of Air in my bank account, I took it out and held it with my right hand. With this and the hundred Mind Runes, I could practice the most basic of elemental magic...

To allow easier casting, I removed my full-body iron plate armor and helm and doned a set of black robes, along with a tiara I happened to own (my Wizard's hat was, sadly, lost one time when I perished in the wilderness. Thank the Gods for the Life-Return spells that all Adventurers are blessed with!) I kept on the Amulet of Magic, naturally, as it would steady my hand and guide my spells home.

(Later)

I am currently in Varrock, and my magic skills have improved! However, I remembered the demonic threat here in Varrock, so I am preparing to finish this quest... Let's see... Three keys. One's in the *crag* sewers, one's all the way at the Wizard Tower, and the other is here in Varrock...

Its my only account. My older ones died because I couldn't remember their passwords.

Currently stuck in the Shield quest, because it requires two people. I did the Pheonix Gang half and am having trouble find someone that did the Black Arms Gang half.

I had updated the journal. Also, I have a handful of quests left (and I gave my Magic skill a nice boost).
