I played a demo of this on XBLA. It's kinda cool, but not worth the 1200 points. It's a puzzle-platformer that makes you think outside the box, and it tips its hat to Mario quite a bit ("Sorry Tim, but your princess is in another castle", and a Donkey Kong room named Jumpman). It's a bit frustrating at first because it looks impossible to get some of the puzzle pieces, but once you learn how you're supposed to think, it's pretty fun. Try it out if you have a 360, and try to solve World 2 before reaching your verdict. |
