Is it possible to watch youtube videos through a proxy? I need to know because youtube is filtered on this computer. Is there like any special video viewing proxies or some other place I can watch youtube videos from?

If you're talking a school computer, don't even try a proxy. At my school, using a proxy gets you sent to the office and possibly suspended on the first offense.
But what you could do if you have a certain YT vid you like a lot and want to watch at school, try sporking it with HyperCam. Set the recording area to the size of the video window, REMEMBER TO ENABLE SOUND RECORDING!!!, then hit the Record Hotkey in HyperCam and click the Play button in YT at the same time. Record for the duration of the video, then hit the Stop Recording button. Copypasta the .avi file from whatever directory your copy of HyperCam saves to, onto a flash drive. 1 GB or better works best. Then (assuming you're allowed to use Windows Media Player, and you can get it to associate .avi files with the program) plug the flash drive into the school computer, click on the file, and there's your video.
If all else fails, try using http://www.slangaholic.com to do it. Technically, since it translates sites into Lolcatese, it's not a proxy, and if your school's site blocker is as dumb as I hope it is, then if you type youtube.com into the Translate a Web Page box, it shouldn't be blocked. Then just search for the videos you want. The only things wrong with this method are, you can't log into your YT account, and the video descriptions will be in Lolcatese. The site only translates text, not sound or video. But remember that if the teacher sees YT on your screen, you are in trouble. |

Thanks and it's not for school, I use local computers near my house and they have it blocked. D: |

Say wha? Oh, like an internetz cafe or something. Dunno why they'd block it there. Now, a library I'd understand... |
