I'm sort of enjoying this skeleton thing. :D I wanted to do something about bones coming out of the ground, surrealism, and make it have no lines. Again this is just an experiment. It's hard to shade things that are line-less, because you're putting yourself into 2 different catagories. Realism, or cartoon-y, I obviously choose more of a cartoon-y feel. I just stuck to one shade because putting on more made it tacky.
The leaves don't really look great, but I love how the rose and the fingers came out. C: |

Yay, surrealism. c: I like surreal art, lol...
Anyway, it looks very good, very... vector-ish. I like how the detail focuses on the rose more than anything else, making it the focal point of the piece.
There's something about the sunrise that bothers me, though. Most likely because in the picture, it fades directly to dark blue... I dunno, lol. |
