...hobbies. The whole title couldn't fit.
Nintendo bans Miyamoto from speaking publicly about his hobbies
Quote: | After Shigeru Miyamoto developed a love of puzzles, the “brain-training” software that has proved to be an international “killer application” on the Nintendo DS console was born.
He became interested in taking more exercise, and Wii Fit was created. He took up music lessons, and Wii Music was the result.
Now, according to sources at Nintendo, the games designer has been banned by the company from speaking publicly about his hobbies.
It's not that they are naughty, illegal or even nerdish, it's just that any glimpse inside his head could be worth billions. Particularly so now: the Wii still sells strongly around the world, but its successor is the talking point. Unfortunately, the only place where the discussion has any grounding is inside Mr Miyamoto's head.
In short, the gaming and investment communities are wondering which of his current pastimes will be translated into a virtual rendition that will attract millions of sales five years from now. |

Just... wow.
Banning him from talking about his hobbies? Do they not want him to have a personality when he's not by himself...? |

They could atleast just ask him to keep a lid on it, rather than ban him from doing so. |

Hmm, yeah that could've worked too. Then again, you never know what Sony or Microsoft has under their sleeves |

Either overly gorey FPS games, ports of older games, or LittleBIGPlanet. |

I'm going to take a shot in the dark and say that Shiggy's love for gardening spawned the Pikmin series. |

And I guess Shiggy's love for hot elf chicks created Zelda and his love for Sci Fi created Star Fox? Great move there Nintendo.
My god, this is kinda fun. |

And his love for fat, Italian carpenters and giant gorillas inspired Donkey Kong. |

That breaks several laws actually. And an amendment or two if I'm not mistaken. Speaking in highway terms; they shouldn't be able to do that. o-o; |
