This is one of my favourite non-Disney animated movies. It tells the story of Moses, but isn't preachy, doesn't try to say "THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED." It just tells the story and does an awesome job of it.
It also has the darkest song/animation sequence I have ever seen.
