Apparently there is a new virus going around through the internet. It gets in through your cookies, os if you log into any site there is a chance you may get it.
The only way to tell is to check your system idle process by holding CTRL+ALT+DELETE and checking the processes. If it is working at over %80 then it is likely that the virus is already on your computer, and the only way to get rid of it quickly is to shut off your computer immediately by unplugging it from the wall and then plugging it back in. If it still isn't gone you should contact an expert. |

...I doubt this is true because of the Pull out the plug thing, but even so, I doubt I'm getting it. |

I'm good. The only thing running at over 80% on my system is the System Idle Process. |

I'm sure you don't have to actually pull out the plug.
Probably just turning it off would work. |

Probably just turning it off would work. | Of course, it may come into effect during a shutdown sequence, so it's possible you need a sudden, erratic restart. |

What exactly does the virus do? Does it have a name yet?
I'm not sure if this is true or not, because most virus programmers nowadays wouldn't allow a virus to be deleted at a sudden shut down...
Also, doesn't the System Idle Process' CPU Usage percentile go up when you aren't doing anything, anyway? |

I'm safe, then. It's running as normally as it should be. |

Is it the CPU usage? I'm hovering around 10% now, so I'm good. |

Firefox occasionally glitches and jumps M'aiq's computer up to 100%, even after M'aiq closes it. It is doubtful it is the result of the virus, because Firefox has been gay and doing it for over a year now, while Internet Explorer works without a hitch.
To fix it, M'aiq Alt+Ctrl+Del's the Firefox process, which keeps running for some reason, using like 98% or the comp. |

I'm probably good then. I have an app that shows the CPU Usage, and it's hovering around 15-20%. |
