Well, we've had more than one case of inappropriate searchlighting, so...

To be more detailed...
1) Take out the avatars when searchlighting. Too many cases of perverted images or oversized pictures. It would just say "View Guest's Post" or whatever.
2) Have avatar approval by Francis/a mod. You wouldn't be able to use searchlights until that avatar was approved. Mods are active at most times, so it wouldn't be too painful.
3) Or, just prevent un-approved users from using searchlights.

Avatar approval is overboard. Restrict new users from having avatars in the first place instead. The staff can handle the normal members. |
