I've decided to try and get back into Guild Wars, but I don't know what class I should be for the main. The 4 above represent which I want to play as.

Monk: When I played as a Monk, I loved it, I wasn't really much of a attack back then when I played MMORPGs.

Mesmer: I'd love if not to heal, but to support my team mates. The mesmer's hexes are excellent for this use.

Assassin: My first go at a damage dealer, but not a tank. The assassin is a glass cannon, and I know how to work glass cannons.

Elementalist: IF I have to select a class that attacks, it would always be the mage, in this case, Elementalist. I love magic users, and the Elementalist is no exception.

I also have another Guild Wars question: If I were to download it from the site, since I had Guild Wars Factions, after I install it and log into Guild Wars will it automatically know that my account was with GW: Factions or would I just have to take the discs and install GW: Factions from the disk?

Elementalist by far. It's the most versatile class when it comes to offense or support... hell, even both.

...I have gotten over half of the people on Digi who play GW to start as an Elementalist. <.<

Nope, all you hav to do is have the client and it will recognize any campaign you have. It will just need to download though.

Client is the program.
Just download it and it'll work for any campaign.

I play elementalist with a very specific role.

Slow the enemy and pelt them down with AoE.

I might get back in if someone invites me into a group.

I need to change my secondary to monk though, because my only none Elementalist spell is a revive, and the Monk's would be better.

... Holy shit, Popple played Guild Wars?

Anyways, you told me over MSN that you were interested in Mesmer, so I'd give that a try if I were you.

Go with Monks, punching monsters is always the coolest way to go!

In Guild Wars, the monks are the healers.

Popple, if you are going to get back into GW and be active... I run an active guild with people who know what the yare doing.

...And you should log on to see all of the Minipets you got. The third-year rares are still going for well over 300k. And the unique 3rd year Minipet is Mad King Thorn...
