From what I've read and seen in offical pictures, it is going to kickass and chew bubblegum, and it is not out of any of the two.
ANIMU cutscenes in my Wario land? Captain Syurp? Shakin' enemies for monies? SWEET WRITTEN ALL OVER IT. |

My fun is called "other games". They're in stores and I can buy 'em. I'm not interested in a 2D classic platformer for my Wii. Especially one for $50. If it was a WiiWare title for like, $15, maybe I'd consider it. Maybe. |

Why would Wario Land be Wiiware? It is a major franchise. Why would nintendo shaft him like that. (*COUGH*Megaman*COUGH*)
And besides, that is how Wario Land has always been. Notice how most Street Fighter games are still 2-D, how Super Smash Bros is still 2-D, and so on. It works for that style of gameplay. |

True, but it's literally 2D, not on a plane. I want to play a 2D game on my DS, or my GBA. It just doesn't deserve to be a $50 game in today's gaming society.
I'm not saying it's a bad game or anything, but if I want to play an oldschool game, I'd rather play it via VC/WiiWare, or on the DS. |

It is one thing if it has DS quality graphics and such, but it is running off of the Wii. It is going to look like pure sex on your tv screen, 2-D or not. And it is doing things that could not be done on a handheld, motion controlled attacks and steering with vehicles. So really and truly, IMO, it is worth the 50 bucks. |
