My laptop keeps freezing for no reason, so I have to forcefully shut it off. Sometime it even loads during the start up!
Does anyone know the cause of this? |

You might have a virus. What kind of anti-virus do you have and is there any other unnusual activity? |

I ran a virus scan but nothing seems to be wrong.
I tried to defragment the laptop but it keeps aborting the process. |

I got the same problem with my crappy old PC. It loads the desktop and that's it before it freezes, the mouse is movable though. |
