So I was bored liek hell (lolpun for Doom 3), and I reinstalled this game after years of owning it. I never really played it that much before, and I haven't even gotten past the first Boss in the expansion, Resurrection of Evil. Just playing through the first level with no lag and excellent graphics made me fall in love with this game again.
They put so much work into every. little. *crag*. detail. that it still scares the shit out of me every time I play it. From the dropping ledge into the extremely dark pit of zombies when you get the Shotgun, to looking in the mirror and seeing yourself as a demon in a mind *crag*, this game is excellent. The only other FPS I've played that had be as immersed as I am in Doom 3 is probably Bioshock. |
