I think Vista's too good for it. Old games were not made for new OSs. Which is why I never try installing old games on any of my computers.

Change the resolution to something lower. See if that works.

I got "The Neverood" to run on Vista. It installed, and bam, worked. Wasn't that a DOS game?

I was able to do the same, but I don't think it was DOS. I have noticed though that some games choose to work on vista while others don't for arbitrary reasons (most having to do with resolution).
