I don't know if anyone else knew this, but my brother found out online that you could do this. He put in Xenogears in the PS3 and then trying to play it via Remote Play on my PSP... It worked. That means that using the internet/a PS3-PSP connection, you can play classic PS1 games on the go. Hell, you can even play them from anywhere if you set your PS3 to turn on when Remote Play is started via Internet.
Just thought I'd share this with everyone here, because I never heard it before and I had no *crag* idea. xD |

No.
My PS3 doesn't support backwards compatibility, and I don't have any good PS1 games except MGS1.
Not to mention my Remote Play lags like hell for some reason.
It's still a cool feature though. |

Another little-known feature is that you can share content with 4 other PS3s. Just have to login to your PSN account on the other PS3, then you can re-download anything you have purchased in the past.
I have considered creating a digibutter PSN account just for giving away free games. |

40 gigabyte PS3s don't have backwards computability, and soon none of them will period.
I really doubt you could play a PS2 game over Remote Play as well. |

Get a 20 Gig then. You can upgrade the hard drive, and it's better than a 40 Gig with room you'll never use and no backwards. |

Wha? The best option is to get the MGS4 80GB Bundle, which should still be in stores. It is backwards compatible with most PS2 games. Else, get an old 60GB off ebay, but you may have to pay MORE for it than a new 80GB. |

Backwards compatability isn't a big issue for me. I have a PS2, and why would I want to play them on a PS3 if I couldn't transfer the data?

D: I could barely afford my 40G and Limited Edition MGS4 by itself, let alone the bundle. |

But you can transfer the data.
All you need is that one wire that's being used like hell for PlayStation crap, and a box-thing that you put your memory card into. |
