I understand if its a little child that seems to act biased (For ex, a kid can hate boys for reasons unknown or etc) But if it was someone smart, parents, teachers, you name it. I think its wrong for them to be biased. Now say a teacher is teaching 20 students. And that teacher likes only one of them the most and hates the others. That is pure bias. It isn't fair for the other kids. Same with race. Thank you Martin Luther King Jr. for thinking the same thing as me, Equality=Peace. Or rather, me getting the idea from him Now Teen life should be the same. Teen life is when we start to get a lot more intelligent, to get us ready for adult life. If we're biased against certain people, that certianly won't do you good. It'll only cause some people to dislike you, especially the people you hate. Of course, the people you like could end up hating YOU for being biased. I think being biased is unfair, both teen and adult life. It only makes things unfair for other people. And it makes you feel left out. But of course! There is nothing you can do to in Teen life. Bias is everywhere in school. The popular could shun you and leave you in the dust. But digibutter is not like the school is it? Yet it is, because we share very similar system to school. But lets not get into that. School is school. That is it. The real important thing comes to play in adult life. When you get like, 2 kids. Would it be fair if you only like one of them and hate the other? It sure will have that other kids cause nothing but trouble and anger around your house.

Yes thats true. Even I admit I was biased at times over the summer over little kids. But I'm just saying, I think its teachers and parents who should avoid bias.
I hate bias. It sickens me. People with such huge bias for no reason, and makes up a bunch of crappy reasons of why they like it other than bias *coughcoughKHcoughcough* it really pisses me off.
Serious bias (sexism, racism, etc.) is completely wrong. Even if there are psychological reasons behind it, it's still wrong.
Nonetheless, everyone is biased, very slightly at least. I dislike my own gender to a very small degree. Probably because I feel threatened around groups of girls.
Anyway. Enough about me.
Serious bias, where it comes to the level of irrational hate of a person, ethnicity, or belief, is wrong, inappropriate, and I just plain don't like it.
(Of course, I'm being biased against people with biases which makes me a person with an irrational bias, and using that logic, I hate myself.)

See thats whats wrong with me, I'm blinded by those little details. I guess I am biased against bias. But bias just sickens me...because once I had a teacher who only liked certian students and hated me, because I failed to meet her expectations. Thankfully, that was elementary school.
But of course, like you stated, bias is in everyone. But like Abstract said, serious bias like racism is wrong. And personally, I find it wrong when the older, supposedly wiser ones are biased (Teachers, parents once again)

In a way, it.... kind of makes me sad. You never know when you did a bad job, or people just don't care for anything you say.
Then some people never know when they do a good job.... it's.... sad really. I don't go calling everything bias because, well, it may or may not be true. The thing is you practically CAN'T EVEN TELL.
It's mainly about racism, but the principles apply to all kinds of bias. I try to be as unbiased as I can, but being completely without it is not really possible.

You're not alone there. I've never been interested in the same things as most girls, so I don't hang out with them much. Didn't like to play with dolls when I was young, I don't go to the mall unless I'm looking for something specific, and I own a grand total of one pair of shoes. But I guess I'm bias for saying that most girls are like that.
