What is your favorite Counter-type special move? Examples are Marth and Ike's Counter, Lucario's Double Team, Pit's Mirror Shield, Peach's Toad... that kind of thing. |

I prefer Mario's cape. It just seems to be the easiest to time for me, as well as the least predictable and easiest to exploit your opponents' weaknesses. The reflection thing is just a bonus.
Of course, if we're talking about just countering with Super Armor, nothing's more fun than a Giant Punch to the face. =P |

The reflector can counter moves if unleashed before the opponent connects, especially in falco's case. I still laugh at how someone got smart bombed when they tried to throw a smart bomb at me, who was wolf. "Epic fail", indeed. |

Mario's cape and aslo Ike and Lucario's counters. Although, Lucario's is harder to pull off, it does seem pretty cool to pull it off. |

Jigglypuff's Pound isn't really a counter, but it will stop any attack in its tracks if used correctly. |

Most of Wario's attacks do this to me too. Really pisses you off when you face a good Wario.
As for Counter moves, I really don't bother with them unless I absolutely know I can get someone with it. But projectile counters are another thing... especially when I play as Mario, my reflexes for reflecting projectiles is great. Nothing beats the warm fuzzy feeling you get when you refect a full-power Super Scope shot back at someone. :> |
