My friend and I really want to start a band. We want to start an indie punk/emo band. And before you're all like "EMO SUCKS", I must ask if anyone here even knows what emo is.
Here's a good indie band that will give you an idea:

Anyway, my friend has a guitar, I have a keyboard, another friend has a bass, and another has a drum set. Plus, I can do really good vocals like the band in the link.
My friend and I are thinking about calling the band June Port Bridge. I think we're finally serious about getting something started with this. I'm gonna talk to him about it tomorrow in school. Maybe we can find people that can play instruments better than us, but I know I'm staying vocals.
Good idea? Bad idea? Starting a band is the one thing I haven't accomplished yet before the end of high school. |

Oh, we got our name from the name of a song by another band, actually.XD
Doing that is really common in the music world.  |

Also if I ever started a band which may never happen since I'm only good with only a few instruments, the band would be called ether "The Darkness" or "The Mages of Darkness". |

Starting a band is like an anology I can't think of.
I say go for it.
I myself have been trying to get into 8-bit music but I can't find any good hardware on da net.
Then again I haven't looked very hard yet. |

Well, I talked to some people, and it looks like we have a potential guitarist/drummer. We'll only use bass if we REALLY need one. We'll prolly end up with one anyway. |
