Old Butter Nerrs unite!

I'm playing loads of old-school games right now, and to celebrate my enthusiasm, I decided to make this group.

If anyone's playing any classic games, feel free to bring them up. This group is all about discussion on the subject.

Feel free to post any videos you make here, as well (example: Let's Plays of classic games; I may be doing this myself). And any other related works, really.

And... that is all.

I've been thinking about brining da old SNES up to my room to play some Super Street Fighter II Championchip Edition. OFFICIALLY THE LONGEST *crag* NAME FOR A GAME EVER.

Also I'm going to start replaying all the Metal Gears in order.

And when I say replay, I mean play, for the first time.

Except 4.

I may beat the original Metal Gear first, but it is *crag* hard.

I believe that anyone who has played this game to attest that it is one serious hard ass.

Technically, it isn't a classic (because the fan translation was released close to the year 2000), but I'm playing Seiken Densetsu 3 right now. Awesome game, I might add.

I also have been playing Secret of Mana as well, which is one of the only Square/Enix games that's ever held my interest (SMRPG is another).

Recently, I decided to buy Mega Man Anniversary Collection, since the last time I played those games I was a little n00bcake and gave up because it was too hard. And they're still pretty dang hard, but fun. I'm playng through the games in order, and am currently at 3, which is probably going to be a real pain, from what I've seen in Sonikdude's Let's Play.

And Mega Man 8? Dr. Wiwy: 'Nuff said.

I was going to start playing the LoZ N64 games again... I really need to. I've forgotten so many of the quotes I'd memorized! ZELDA FANS CAN'T DO THAT IF THEY VALUE THEIR FANDOM. Or, at least, I can't.

I've never been a super gamer with the Mega Man games, myself. The challenge factor remains pretty good for me to this day. =o

I remember playing Mega Man Anniversary Collection a while back. Quite worth it. I may go back and play Mega Man X some time; I remember having a lot of fun playing that game.
