It may help the site. Since GD is generally for the very serious stuff, and OT isn't necessarily for spam but the stuff in-between the serious and silly, a Spamboard could be added that balances out the equation. GD could be renamed "Serious Discussion," OT would remain just as it is, and we could have a Spamboard, where most of the rules apply except for the spam restrictions.
We could give it a cool name. Like Imaginationland.
So, who here thinks a spamboard named Imaginationland would be a cool idea? |

Also, spam isn't always bad. There is such a thing as entertaining spam.
And seriously, don't you want all the random, pointless shit out of Off-Topic? It doesn't need that stuff. Off-Topic is just a place where we can have non-serious conversations.  |

Please. Just be quiet. Just because people don't need to spam doesn't mean they won't. In fact, the fact that we can't spam without receiving punishment is killing the board. I remember you saying that if it continued, we needed to be stricter. That would further kill the board. I believe that a spamboard is something we really should have. |

The end? Please. I joined a forum in its prime, equipped with a spamboard. It's still alive. And people are smart enough to know to only spam in the spamboard. |
