Ahem! Today... i'll tell you the story of the book of lost prophecies...
This prophetic book was a mysterious tome full of stories of future events. Of course, many people craved this book, wishing to glimpse their futures. But no person, after obtaining this amazing book, ever found happiness. The reason? The book held frightful secrets, not meant for people's eyes. That book... was sealed away. This... is the tale of that forgotten book's last owner.
It is a tale of love...

As all stories have it, the tale does not simply start at any point in time, it unfolds at it's beginning...

For Vendetta, 'going about her day' meant tormenting small children with fiends. She was currently cackling her trademark cackle as a batch of giant worm-like beasts slithered after a crying girl.

"...A...mushroom-headed person?"

She blinked, then pulled a carton of grape punch out of her dress pocket.

"What do they PUT in this stuff?"

"I think we have done enough work for today, and I'm hungry. What do you say to...dinner and a show? Heheheh..."

At that moment however, everything immediately turned black, and giant letters fell out of the sky, almost crushing Vendetta, spelling out "G-A-M-E O-V-E-R" and two smaller words fell, one reading "continue" and one reading "quit"...
