I personally think that the Beanbean Kingdom needs to be in another game. It was an amazing place, with great areas, like Oho Oasis, Chucklehuck Woods, Hoohoo Mountain, Woohoo Hooniversity, and a TON of other great places. I think that Mario and Luigi should go back to the Beanbean Kingdom. It also had some great characters, such as Cackletta, Lady Lima, Queen Bean, and more. I think that another RPG there would be a great idea. Maybe even a sidescroller. I just replayed M&L (The first one) and I remembered how awesome it was. It also had some awesome bosses, like (I forget the names, but...) The statue on Hoohoo Mountain, That piranha on the airport runway, that funny pair in the icy palace (The fairy and the big monster).
So, is it just me, or does the Beanbean Kingdom need a revisit?
NOTICE: Also, I don't mean a revisit in, like, the next Mario game, I mean EVENTUALLY. In 1 year or 10 years. Doesn't matter when.

Eehhh...nah, we don't need to play through it again. It served its purpose, but other areas in the Marioverse (such as Rogueport, anywhere from SMRPG, about half of the areas from Paper Mario, most of Yoshi's Island, the portrait realms, Sarasaland, etc.) deserve it more. It's probably the last place I'd want to revisit, possibly tied with the Partners in Time areas. |

Well, just as a passing level, not as the major hub again. Glitzville is timeless... |

It was cliched how all the places were named after laughing or beans. |

Don't confuse the words "cliché" and "theme." The Beanbean kingdom was themed with beans and laughing. |

Wasn't Fawful or someone supposed to return in Mario and Luigi 3 (along with the Shroobs)? That could be a sign that they're returning to the roots of the series. They're probably giving the series a "trilogy" treatment, since it looks like all these old characters are returning. |

It's still in the Mushroom Kingdom, but as he said in PiT, he wants revenge. I'm guessing he is trying to take over the Mushroom Kingdom so there is no one to stop him while he tries to take over the Beanbean Kingdom. I'm also guessing that he found E. Gadd's Time Machine and used it to go back in time to right after the Shroobs were defeated. The Flying Saucers now have green with Fawful's glasses on hem, instead of having purple with red eyes. Because of this, I'm guessing that he took the old Flying Saucers that were abandoned by the Shroobs.
So, it just includes Fawful, not the rest of the Beanish people, or any of the Beanbean Kingdom. |

Personally, I wouldn't really care about a return to the Beanbean Kingdom. As long as it's well-presented, I'd be happy with it. I didn't really like the design of the Beanish, though... >>;
On a positive note, returning to it in games outside Mario & Luigi could compel Nintendo to bring back other areas for a more varied approach. |

I think more areas/people from Mario RPGs should be brought back for more Mario games. Places like the Forest Maze, The whole Beanbean Kingdom & The Beanish people, Glitzville, the X-Nauts and the Shroobs, and all/a lot of the enemies from The Beanbean Kingdom, the Shroob race, Super Mario RPG, The Paper Mario series, and more. |

Of course you can't re-introduce them all at once, or we'd end up in the same position as the Sonic series. Too many characters, not enough characterization aside from the shiny new characters (or, in this case, old).
Now, if they introduced them slowly, hinting toward a game that would include every kingdom, that would definitely be interesting. Kind of like a Pokemon Gold/Silver/Crystal approach, but more Mario-like, you know?
Actually, I might as well compare that to Super Paper Mario. Except with old places instead of other dimensions. |

Well, I've always loved the games where you visit an area or place that was in a different game in the series, just sort of fun seeing how things have changed then before, I guess it would be cool to go back there at least once in another game. |
