Here's some suggestions that I think may better the site.

First, I think we need staff positions, as I mentioned in an earlier thread. I believe you added titles, Francis, but why not take it a step further? For instance, giving certain members the power to post things on the front page and stuff.

Secondly, I think we need to revive the Arcade with more new games. Members could submit games, and there could be an approval process or something before they're added.

The last thing I'd like to suggest is a revamp of the forum layout. Sure, it's fine the way it is- but with a bit more organization and tweaking, it could possibly attract more new members, instead of turning away potential members. Here's my suggestion for a new forum layout.

I was talking with Francis about getting an editorial team together to make posts on the front page, and although he seemed to approve of the idea, he never really got back to me about it.

...I agree with the general outcome of this...
...but i think that as well as having editors up on the anouncment board(must be made editor), historians/mods posting in Hall/Wall(must be appointed historian), Jury members being able to post in Court for cases(must be on Digi for at least 2 months to be Jury)...
...but I dont agree with the Spamboard thats a WHOLE different discussion right there...
...and I think that the Mario forum should be Mushroom Kingdom: in it would be posted general mario stuff, and the Subforumes in it are MKWii, SPM/Pm/PM2/SMRPG, brawl(more subs are updated when new games come out and removed maybe 2 years after they come out, become a hidden forum, or is moved to History section...

I believe the intro forum is good enough up there, people recently joining/coming back will want to check quickly if they got replied.

Also, a few doubts and point-outs.
- Super Smash Bros. isn't essentially a Mario game, even less a Mario spin-off. Maybe it should be a subforum at Gaming?
- I don't get the Role-Playing Council Headquarters.
- Shouldn't there be a subforum for non-profit forum games, most of which are a total mess?
- I don't think there really is a point in having both OT and Imaginationland.

Other than that, I like the idea. Specially as it suggests a subforum for fiction in YC.

I don't mind most of those but as Toasters said we don't need 3 separate Mario forums, 1 would work just fine. And we definatly don't need a wall of shame. An archive for epic threads would be nice though, perhaps an item that archives a thread hmmmmm yes?

No to the Overthere. People shouldn't be rewarded for cookies, hundreds of cookie-worthy posts go un-cookied while simple things like a fad .gif by Plastic get 30. People cookie very average RP posts that are nothing special. People even cookie flames and posts that got striked. Cookies are a horribly broken system that should simply be removed from the site, people with cookies shouldn't get their own forum.

1. RP, and RPOT are enough. We don't need a OC only forum.

2nd. We don't need a spam board. Remember the dump? Francis deleted that for a reason. And remember when it came back for a bit on the sammer bowl? It was too much.

3...there's no real need, at all to seperate writing from pictures, in YC.

4...Why is there a butterfly subsection in the butterfly section?

5. There needs to be an SPM forum for heratage, although for games we could have Mario Platformers and RPGS, and Mario Other.

6. Wall of shame, and fame are bad ideas, that could easilly insult people.
