For some reason, I haven't heard anything about this until now. Needless to say, there's a shit the size, shape, and consistency of a brick laying on my floor.

I love you! I haven't tried it yet, but I was looking for a game maker recently!

I dislike Game Maker, but I LOVED RPG Maker. RPG Maker is the *crag* best. AND NOW ENTERBRAIN MAKES ANOTHER ONE? I LOVE THIS WORLD.

Here are the features:

Features of Action Game Maker

* Platformer (side-scrolling) games are possible.
* Shmups (shoot-em-ups/shooters) are possidle.
* Action RPGs (like Zelda) are possible.
* Finished games can be ported to Xbox Live.
* Completed games can be exported as Flash (embeddable for websites).
* Supports hi-definition on the Xbox 360.
* It seems as though the engine supports scoring systems.
* It seems as though the engine supports HUDs.
* Game resolution seems flexible.
* Movement appears to be pixel-based.

HOLY SHIT OMG. I'm gonna be using my 360 way more now.

I wouldn't get too excited about the Xbox Live thing. XNA Creator's Club costs around $60 a month.

I'd probably fail at using it, but still, awesome.

If you could actually make a decent game with it, you pwn the cost with your profits.

Of course, that's looking for a diamond in the rough. It's a shame XNA has to be so expensive...

Yeah. Larry doesn't like Game Maker since he is a noob. I do like RPG Maker, don't get me wrong, but I'm a good game programmer. I don't need to have to get a less-flexible looking program. And you have to pay a lot. If I want it, I'm going to bypass giving my green.

I love Game Maker, and its flexibility very much, however, this seems like something that would be good to just... churn out the game you want without the pages and pages of coding.

I'm good at coding, but I absolutely hate doing it, on top of making sprites for everything. I'll probably try this. If it isn't flexible enough for me, I'll stick to hacking and Game Maker.

Hopefully, the visuals such as the health bars will be fully customizable, because the ones in the action RPG are awful looking.
