Annoyingly enough, that little black smudge was not there before or after I scanned the pic! >_o; I had to do a lot of double checking in Youtube for 02 Battles in Kirby 64. And it was darker in most places where it looks light. Stupid scanner.
Reason for epic shading: I just didn't think that simply drawing it like all the others would do it justice. I mean, its 02! 02 parts, anyway. The combination of polygons just screamed for shading instead of pen-and-pencil sketching. ... And I could get away without drawing the face. >_>
