Today was decent, as school-days go. But as I made my rounds in the computer lab, I saw a woman who was muching on a peppermint candy stick...
Me: Please put the food away.
Woman: Its candy, not food.
Me: It is food. Please put it away. *exasperated tone*
Friend of Woman: Just put it away. *soft whisper*
Woman: *puts it away and grumbles*
Me: I'm just trying to do my job-
Woman: Just leave me alone, b-tch.
Me: ...
Woman: *more insults*
Me: *seething glare, as I didn't allow myself to speak out or I would had responded in a similar manner, causing a fight, and then I'd get in trouble and maybe fired*
Me: *eventually walks away*
Friend of Woman: *giggles*
Later, as the woman and her friend left, I overheard the woman say something that ended with "well she is one!"
...
*headdesk*
Why do I have to face this sort of crap? |
